Intervals I is a self-generating, time-based artwork that exists as a set of rules rather than a fixed image.

A single circular form slowly breathes over time through subtle shifts in light, colour temperature, contrast, and edge definition. Motion is governed by a long-form temporal cycle rather than conventional animation, causing change to emerge gradually rather than immediately.

There is no narrative or climax. Change is perceptible primarily through duration, rewarding repeated and sustained viewing rather than instant spectacle.

Once minted, the work is fully autonomous and permanent. It requires no external input, updates, or maintenance. The system continues on its own.

Interval I marks the beginning of an ongoing series of autonomous, time-based systems.
