Convergence is a living genetic algorithm that spends its existence trying to become a masterwork.
Each mint seeds a population of competing Voronoi generators — geometric mosaics made of colored polygons — and sets them against a target drawn from 114 paintings spanning 17,000 years of human image-making: Rothko color fields, Hokusai woodblocks, Minoan frescoes, Rembrandt portraits, Hubble nebulae, Lascaux cave paintings. Generation by generation, the fittest survive, reproduce, and mutate. The population slowly converges — and then the target changes, and the whole thing starts again.
Every mint is assigned an Art Style that shapes which paintings it gravitates toward: Renaissance, Modern, Zen, Cosmic, Abstract, or Olde. A Genetic Profile — Sniper, Frenetic, Drifter, Stalker, Balanced, or Unstable — determines how the algorithm hunts: patient and precise, or restless and chaotic. These two traits, combined with layout, resolution, and genome complexity, produce a piece with with its own character, pace, and aesthetic obsessions.
All parameters are derived deterministically from the token hash. The same hash always produces the same evolutionary trajectory.
